Bear Camp did not disappoint again this year!
When I talk about bear hunting it usually includes hounds and the Temple Family. This year we hunted with the Cauthen Brothers from Georgia! Kasey, Kenny and Kelly are die hard outdoorsmen that spend a lot of time in the woods and make one “Big” trip outside the state each year. 2024 was their year to head to North Carolina to experience a hunt for our black bears in the Northeastern part of the state!
One swipe from a paw like this can do major damage to man and hound alike.
We have a fairly long history with Doug and Wade Temple and their hounds as we’ve produced a number of shows with them. This year is one to remember as all 3 brothers took bears of a lifetime! With the combined weight of over 1500 lbs. of bear flesh, the Cauthen brothers and their families will have plenty of bear meat for a long time! Congratulations Boys!
